Real quickly, I just want to make mention of something. I know times are tough for most Americans right now with unemployment being so high and with the stock market acting like it is, but this morning census data was released by the government which said that the number of Americans living in poverty has risen to an 18 year high.
This is a rather staggering number, as it says that the number of adults living in poverty now stands at 15.1%, and for children under the age of 18 the number is 22%. My point in saying all this, is that WE ALL need to remember to be thankful for what we are blessed with, and pray for those who are less fortunate.
If you are in the financial position to donate food or clothing to others in need, please do so...for as it's written, to whom much has been given, much is required.
