Nothing New

I really have nothing new to write about this morning...the market was up about 1.75% earlier but similar to yesterday it's starting to sell off a bit on fears that China's economy is starting to see signs of slower growth.  The main reason?  The price of copper.  Seems random I know but China is the largest consumer/user of copper in the world, and with the price and demand of copper dropping, it's leading analysts and observers to think that economic growth in China is decelerating.  I personally do not agree with this view because copper after all is just another precious metal, and precious metals (like gold or silver) are not only tangible things we use and own, but they are also investment vehicles that people use to make money on a daily basis by buying and selling.

Other than that, there is really nothing new going on today with respect to individual stock names.  I personally am looking to add to investment positions in Sallie Mae (SLM) and KKR Financial (KFN) as both are my favorite investment positions for the near term.
