Can't Stand

It bothers and annoys me to no end why all the talking heads on CNBC or any other news channel come on t.v. and talk as if they know exactly what is going to transpire or happen in the stock market in the coming days/weeks/months....why can't people just be honest and say I DON"T KNOW?  Truth is, any one who manages money or invest money in the markets doesn't know what will happen.  None of us have a crystal ball or can predict what is to happen.  We research, read, conversate with others, work along side other people in the financial industry, etc; but in the end, the truth is we make educated guesses on what we expect to happen and we go from there....but I find it to be annoying and wrong how people come on t.v. and act like they know what's goin on and what's gonna happen.  Truth be it told, now is not a great time to be invested.  Volatility, which is merely random up and down movements in the markets, is very extreme now and in my opinion the best approach to the markets is to key ones levels high and invest with below average positions (stay on the sidelines)...as I've been writing about, investors were too positive and upbeat on the direction of stocks (up) and it appeared that too many people have been drinking out of the punch bowl at the party (and it appears to have dried up lately considering we the past week and a half have been the worst since 2011).  I still believe now is not the time to become overly ambitious in buying mutual funds or stocks.....while I've been picking away a bit here and there, I'm still sitting on the sidelines waiting for a better (and lower market) opportunity to come.

In the meantime, is it just me or is anyone else tired of the cold nasty weather?????  When is summer again?
